TANKS
All FAB Tanks come standard with the following:
- Four pipe connection points; inlet, outlet, overflow and drain (flanged to SANS 1123 or BSP sockets)
- External and Internal access ladders
- Roof with lockable access manhole and screened vent
- Level Indicator
- Internal support bracing
All steel components are hot dipped galvanised in accordance with SANS 121
TANK SUPPORT STRUCTURES
FAB Tanks offer steel support structures for all size water tanks. This includes the design of the structure as well as the manufacturing and delivery to site. All steel supports are designed by a registered professional engineer.
Steel Towers include:
- Access ladder with safety cage
- Option of having a walkway around the tank
- Design certificate from registered professional engineer
FOUNDATIONS
Design of foundations and dwarf walls is important and should only be undertaken by a professional engineer. Soil conditions are required for this design.
PIPE WORK
- As an overall water storage solution we offer pipe work for all our tanks
- Pipe work can be fabricated and installed to suit the project requirements; whether it is from tank to ground level or from tank to pump house.
- This will include the supply of all the necessary valves to suit the project (float valves, gate valves, butterfly valves etc.)
- Pipe work can be fabricated from medium or heavy gauge pipe and can include flanged or threaded ends.
- All pipe work and fasteners are hot dipped galvanised to SANS specifications.
